The Entomology Farm is located at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center in the Rock Springs area, approximately 10 miles west of campus. The Entomology Farm consists of 88 acres of test plots used for a wide range of faculty and student research projects.

Much of the research on the entomology farm centers on testing new management strategies and studying insect ecology in field conditions. We aren't out here raising bugs and releasing them into crops. If we want to study how an insect infests a crop, we do it under controlled conditions in a greenhouse.
