This year's Great Insect Fair Mascot is the Appalachian Snaketail Dragonfly. Mascots are chosen by the public every year by donating money for one of three candidates. Every dollar counts as one vote.
The slender ant-mimicking jumping spider is one of three candidates for the mimic mascot of 2027.
The Black-tailed Laphria is one of three candidates for the mimic mascot of 2027.
The northern walkingstick is one of three candidates for the mimic mascot of 2027.
