Welcome Valeria Lee!

The Frost welcomes new graduate student, Valeria Lee, who is rotating through the Deans lab this semester. She graduated from Canisius University (Buffalo, New York) and previously worked on understanding variation in phenology of mosquitoes (Aedes and Culex) across different geographic areas of the United States. Valeria has broad interests, but hopes her future research will expand what we know about Hymenoptera ecology and behavior in order to provide better outreach and help raise awareness for the services that insects provide.

Fun fact: Valeria’s passion for insects has been lifelong (she started collecting bees and wasps when she was two years old!)
