New gall wasp funding!

Our Director, Dr. Andrew Deans, has recently secured funding to continue gall wasps research through the NSF Advancing Revisionary Taxonomy and Systematics (ARTS) program. The project called "Broadening capacity for research on gall wasps in North America" will generate monographs, phylogenies, and diagnostic tools for two tribes within the gall wasp family Cynipidae: Aulacideini and Diastrophini.
