Penn State undergraduate student Cecil Smith has been selected to receive a summer 2023 Erickson Discovery Grant in support of his project identifying insect communities associated with the rosinweed gall wasp.
He will be spending the summer at the Frost identifying specimens reared from rosinweed galls using a combination of morphological and genetic data to characterize the food web associated with Antistrophus silphii.
