Graduate Students Doing Research

Our graduate students' work covers many entomological disciplines. Take a look at these pictures to see us at work. To view students' pages, go to https://ento.psu.edu/directory/grad-students.

Beth recording Cuscuta host choice in the greenhouse.
Justin studies the olfaction behavior in mosquitoes using single sensillum recording technique. His research also focuses on how fungal infection affects the host finding behavior in mosquitoes.
Ian Grettenberger and his high and low diversity soybean plots. Ian is investigating whether crop genotypic diversity could be a useful pest management tool.
Eric Bohnenblust

Maggie Douglas and undergrad Allie Shoffner check soil traps for wireworms, a pest of corn. Maggie's research is investigating whether diverse crop rotations and conservation practices can help prevent pest outbreaks.
