IPM is one of the nine subject areas in the Pennsylvania Academic Standards for Environment and Ecology for K-12 students attending Pennsylvania's public and charter schools. The PA IPM Program has created resources and curricular materials for PA teachers to help them understand IPM and fit it into their existing curricula. The PA IPM Program staff is available to provide teacher workshops at all grade levels and all subject matters related to IPM. In addition, staff can help construct community and service-learning opportunities for IPM subject matter.
We can create customized programs for youth about IPM, insect biology, pest management, chemical safety, and other related healthy home issues based on the age of students and desired topics.
