Edward Amoah's research work bridges AI, machine learning, and ecology to study the behavior and population dynamics of pollinators in diverse habitats. In this talk, Edward will present a spatially-explicit hybrid mechanistic and machine learning approach to predict pollinator abundance.
Jaya Sravanthi Mokkapati will discuss how dietary lipids influence foraging choices and resilience against pesticides in bees. This talk links nutritional ecology, bee behavior, and physiology, showing how resource quality can shape pollinator foraging and health — generating applied insights relevant to conservation and ecosystem management.
