A graduate student position is available in Dr. Zhu’s Lab

A graduate student position is available in Dr. Zhu’s Lab (iTOX Lab) in the Department of Entomology at the Pennsylvania State University. The research of this position will focus on the mechanisms and evolution of insects’ adaptation to chemical stresses in their environment. The student will have the opportunities to learn molecular biology, functional genomics and protein chemistry techniques and decipher mechanisms underlying insect chemical adaptation. The ideal candidate should have BS or MS degree(s) with research experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or functional genomics. Financial support is $35,000/year including stipend, tuition, and benefits.
