My name is Sophie Salisbury, and I am a research technician in the Tooker Lab. I previously attended Bard College at Simon's Rock for my undergraduate studies, where I studied lichens in Montserrat, the West Indies. In the Tooker Lab, I am assisting with several fascinating projects that study the complex, evolved relationships between different plants and insects. This has included dissecting slugs and extracting phytohormones, among other fun tasks. I intend to enter a PhD program in Botany in the Fall of 2026 or 2027.
