Native 1bFaculty affiliated with the Center for Pollinator Research receive substantial funding from a variety of agencies, including NSF, USDA-AFRI, USDA-ARS, USDA-APHIS, EPA, NE-SARE, USAID, US-Israel Binational Science Foundation, National Honey Board, non-profit agencies (such as Project Apis M and the Foundation for the Preservation of Honey Bees) and industry-supported groups (such as the California Almond Board).

The Center has also received funding from multiple individual and corporate donors, including Häagen Dazs, the O'Keefe Foundation, Wyman's of Maine, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Whole Foods, Beekeeper Groups and numerous private donors. These donations demonstrate the large degree of public support for pollinator research. The funds have been used to create the "Dutch Gold Honey and William R Gamber II Undergraduate Scholarship in Honey Bee Health" and the "Lorenzo L. Langstroth Graduate Fellowship in Honey Bee Health."
