Dr. Thomas Baker Named as a University Distinguished Professor

Dr. Thomas Baker has been named a University Distinguished Professor on the basis of his exemplary performance in research in chemical ecology and entomology.

Over his career, he has made pioneering advances in the field of insect behavioral responses to pheromones that have earned him an international reputation as a leader in this field. His pioneering work was cited in his being elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and in receiving the Silverstein-Simeone Award of the International Society of Chemical Ecology.
