Information about the Course

General Information

• Can be taken for 3 graduate credits; course listing is Entomology 497B
• Approximate cost of $999 (in-state tuition) is payable at final registration on designated date
• Tuition fees, computer fees, and activity fees subject to change
• Can be taken as a noncredit course (Payment of $300 should be sent with the registration form.)
• Will be held in the Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building on the University Park campus
• Parking on campus is restricted. You will need to purchase a parking permit when you arrive on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at any parking kiosk on campus.
• Enrollment is limited to 30, so please register early to guarantee a place in the course.
  Registration deadline is designated date. If there is insufficient enrollment, the course will be canceled and any money received will be refunded.
  

Course Requirements

Participants in Bug Camp will be evaluated on the following:

1. Class participation
2. Short-order quiz--be able to key out major insect orders
3. Development of two lesson plans
4. Presentation of two lesson plans to the class
5. Summary of keeping and using an insect species of your choice in the classroom

Registrations will be accepted by fax or mail through designated date. Walk-in registrations will be accepted only if space allows. The registration fee includes all conference fees.

Cancellation

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course activity due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the course is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
