Lyn Garling

I coordinate the efforts of the PA IPM Program to develop IPM curriculum for PA schools K-12. i also work with the IPM team and key stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of IPM protocols in PA school buildings. I am involved in developing a new program focus, "Community IPM", an outreach program for homeowners, home improvement centers, teachers, health practitioners, family living agents and others on basic education in IPM and pesticide issues. Collaboration with farmers, commodity groups and businesses in developing IPM standards for labeling food products is also important in my work. Lastly, i am working on the development of a traveling IPM educational extravaganza called the "Bugmobile!"
